Hydrographics is a process of applying decorative finishes to rigid and semi-rigid products including plastic and metal without wrinkles, air bubbles, or blemishes. The process requires three steps (treat plastic, base coat and hydrographics film coat).

With over 300 patterns available, hydrographics provides complete 360 degree coverage over corners, in crevasses, and intricate draft angles. Extremely durable, Hydrographics has been used extensively in the automotive sector since it meets specifications for hardness, UV resistance, salt spray corrosion resistance, and adhesion. All products with Hydrographics application are sealed with automotive grade clear coat or UV curable hard coating. If the goal is to create unique and visually appealing products through applied graphics, Hydrographics is the finish method of choice.

This truly is an amazing process. Our process is tightly controlled and monitored, as hydrograhics has many variables, this enables us to be repeatable throughout the process. We have a myriad of patterns available or you can customize your own pattern.

Take Length in inches x Width in inches = Total Square Inches
Total Square Inches x $0.75 = Approximate Cost of Hydrographics
Example: A part 20 inches by 20 inches = 400 square inches x .75 = $300.00

Shipping Information

Pack your item with sufficient padding to insure no damage occurs during transport. Use a service such as UPS or FedEx and purchase insurance to protect against loss.

Our Pricing For Automotive Parts

Including but not limited to: dash kits, interior trim, spoilers, body kits, engine accessories, etc. are billed at a minimum of .75 cents per square inch. If a “show” immaculate finish is desired our rates start at $1.00/sq inch. Our “show” finishes include multiple clear coats, and cut/polish/buff.

All custom work including custom logo/lettering, custom paint, multiple colors, pin striping, multiple prints, House of Color Paint, Candy Colors, etc. will need to be quoted on a per job basis.

All Manufacturer work will be bid after a proto-typing phase. We charge special rates for all proto-typing.
